Unbeaten Division Two leaders Last Orders defeated Division One team Railwaymen 78-60 in the Five Towns Quiz League Knock-out Cup quarter-finals on Monday.

Crofton WMC won 68-36 at Kippax Ex-Service Club and The Upton Army were 72-47 winners at Leading Ladies.

Wanderers beat Leading Ladies in the previous round but were thrown out of the competition after they were found to have played an ineligible player.

Flanagan’s Army had a walk-over in the quarter-finals against Plough Inn who were unable to raise a team.

In the first round of the Plate Knock-out competition, G-Fivers defeated Little ‘Un 78-34 and RAFA Vulcan Club won 77-57 at Rockin’ Gladiators.

Golden Lion Dudes were unable to raise a team and forfeited their match against Olde Taverners.

Featherstone Hotel Phoenix had a bye in the first round.
