C Station A won 6-4 at Knottingley A in Castleford, Pontefract and District Table Tennis League.

Nathan Taylor, resuming after a short break, was man of the match for Knottingley. He won all his three games, beating Andy Adams and Keith Lumb fairly easily over three sets.

Taylor was taken to deuce in the first set by Richard Fry, but recovered to take the next two sets and win comfortably.

Rachel Higgins and Ross Hall could not add to Knottingley’s score. They lost all their matches.

Rachel lost all hers in three sets, but Ross lost to deuce in the final of five sets to Andy, over four to Richard and three to Keith.

In the doubles Nathan and Ross salvaged a point by beating Richard and Keith over five sets.
