KNOTTINGLEY-based Elite Cycling Team have confirmed their rider line-up for 2012.

Rob Sharman, Mark Thwaites, Adam Duggleby and Robin Puplett have been added to an impressive line-up.

They join John Tanner (Doncaster), Duncan Moralee (Normanton), Ashley Brown (Pontefract), James Wagner (Pontefract) and Collin Humphrey (Newcastle) who are all re-signed from this year.

While each team rider is in full time work, they will attend a series of UK-based training camps over the winter and a European camp is expected to take place in February before the team embark on a season that will combine Premier Calendar, Elite Criterium and Tour Series events with key riders targeting National TT Championship medals.

Team president and rider Ashley Brown (pictured) said: “There are a lot of changes with other teams next year and it is interesting seeing who is riding with which team.

“We are pleased to have settled our rider resource early this season and we can now prepare for a great season of racing. We know there is talent in the team capable of making an impact in big events and the riders all get along and race with the same aggressive style.”
