Sunday’s weather forecast kept numbers low for Fryston Angling Club’s match at Kippax Park fishery.
The determined dozen who braved the continuous deluge were rewarded with good catches of quality carp and ide. They weighed in over 530lbs between them.

Despite the bad weather, he landed 102lbs of carp to take top spot.
Steve Birch was second with a catch of two halves.
One net of quality ide weighed 52lb 1oz and another net of carp weighed 41lb 9oz, giving Birch a total of 93lb 10oz.
Roy Copley and Pete Turner won their sections with 54lb 7oz and 47lb 8oz respectively.
Eric Hirst won the silver peg draw.
