Students from local martial club Zenku Kai were in outstanding form at the WMO British Championships in Rugby.
They competed across various categories including open hand forms, weapons forms and sparring (fighting).
Many of the students won trophies and medals and have now earned places at the World Martial Arts Organisation World Championships in Spain in October.
James Gayles won a gold medal at sparring.
Silver medals were won by local students Duncan Perry and Rohan Wallbank (both traditional kata) and Darren Wallbank, Julie Sutton and Leah Wallbank (all weapons kata).
Jazmine Sutton (weapons kata) and Lily Whitney (points sparring) won bronze medals.
Instructor Tracy Kite said: “All the students have worked very hard in the run up to the competition and are looking forward to competing on a bigger stage at the World Championships.”
Zenku Kai are now looking for sponsors to help send the students to the World Championships.
