The forward has been penalised for a late tackle in the 54th minute of the 52-16 victory, which initially resulted in a yellow card.

The RFL's match review panel detailed: "A defending player makes contact with an opponent after the ball has been released by an opponent in a vulnerable position which causes excessive flexion to the head, neck or spinal column on an attacking player, which poses an unacceptable risk of injury to that player."

Nathaniel Peteru was also charged with a late tackle for an incident in the first half but has not been issued with a ban.

Castleford travel to Wigan Warriors on Thursday, hoping to make it four league wins from four at the start of 2021.
