The 22-year-old's arrivals makes it two signings this week for injury-hit Rovers after Darcy Lussick joined on loan from Salford Red Devils on Monday.

A Featherstone statement read: "Dagger can play as a full-back or on the wing and will bolster Rovers’ attacking options.

"He has featured 30 times in the Super League scoring four tries in the process. He was also part of the Fev squad that reached the Million Pound game in 2019.

"He will be hoping to play a bigger part in Featherstone’s promotion ambitions this season as they look to go one better and reach the top of England’s divisions.

"James Webster has expressed his desire to have competition for places all around his squad and the signing of Dagger will undoubtedly have turned game faces on throughout the dressing room.

"Being a local boy, Dagger will want to win the hearts of the Rovers fans. After his 2021 season has been hit with injuries to date, a run of games at Fev is what he needs to revitalise his promising career.

"The club are grateful to the Squadbuilder fund, donors and administrators for making our new signings possible."

Lussick and Dagger are both poised to face Bradford Bulls in Sunday's Championship meeting between the West Yorkshire rivals.
