Featherstone Rovers v Whitehaven - Hosts aim for third league win

Featherstone Rovers will aim to make it three wins from three in the Championship when they host Whitehaven at Post Office Road on Sunday.

James Webster’s side secured back-to-back league victories last weekend as they breezed past Swinton Lions with a 36-6 away win.

They defeated Batley Bulldogs on the opening weekend and their only loss in all competitions this season came at the hands of Super League side Hull FC in the Challenge Cup.

Whitehaven earned an impressive win over Newcastle Thunder in Cumbria last weekend after opening their campaign with a 17-8 defeat at Dewsbury Rams. Rovers’ clash with

Whitehaven is one of five Championship games scheduled to be played on Sunday.

All games will be shown on Our League as Swinton Lions host York City Knights at 12.45pm before Featherstone welcome the Cumbrian club to West Yorkshire and Halifax Panthers face a home tie with Toulouse Olympique at 3pm.

Newcastle take on Sheffield Eagles at 5.15pm before Bradford Bulls and Dewsbury Rams go head-to-head at 7.30pm.

On Saturday, London Broncos take on Oldham while Batley Bulldogs host Widnes Vikings.

Supporters can watch every Championship game on Our League this weekend for £20 or all of Sunday’s action for £15.
