The Bradford Cricket League’s Priestley Cup will have a new-look next season when it includes clubs from the former Central Yorkshire League.
Clubs from the Bradford League’s Premier Division and two Championship sections will compete for the Priestley Cup, which will have a preliminary round for the first time.
The losers of the preliminary round go into the Jack Hampshire Cup first round, joining teams from the merged league’s Conference sections.
Clubs’ second teams in the Premier and Championships will compete for the Priestley Shield, with those in the Conference sections taking their place in the Wheatley Cup.
Preliminary round ties take place on Sunday May 1, with the first round on May 15.
In the Priestley Cup first round, Townville host Bankfoot and Methley are home to East Bierley.
In the Jack Hampshire Cup first round, Great Preston have a home game against Buttershaw St Paul’s.
Methley 2nds visit their East Bierley counterparts in the Priestley Shield first round.
The Wheatley Cup first round sees Great Preston visit Buttershaw St Paul’s and Townville host Wrenthorpe or Ossett.
