CASTLEFORD TIGERS and Leeds Rhinos will both welcome back influential players for Sunday’s Betfred Super League derby at The Jungle.

Last year’s Betfred Super League leading try scorer, winger Greg Eden, is poised to return for Tigers following a hamstring problem, along with loose-forward Adam Milner (back).

The rest of the squad includes the players on duty in the 44-16 loss at Catalans Dragons last week.

Seven players remain on Tigers’ casualty list. Those still missing are Ben Roberts (torn pectoral muscle suffered in training), Greg Minikin (ankle), Luke Gale (fractured kneecap), Mike McMeeken (hamstring), Joe Wardle (rib), Alex Foster (foot) and Jy Hitchcox (back).

Acting-captain and loose-forward Stevie Ward has been named in Rhinos’ 19 after missing three games due to concussion.

Prop Anthony Mullally is available following a similar issue which kept him out of last week’s defeat at Wigan Warriors.

Half-back Jordan Lilley (quad) and forward Brett Delaney (hamstring) are also in contention and hooker Brad Dwyer has been recalled to the initial 19 after scoring six tries – as a substitute – for Featherstone Rovers against Rochdale Hornets six days ago.

Prop Jack Ormondroyd and winger Luke Briscoe drop out from the side beaten at Wigan Warriors and prop Mitch Garbutt (knee) has joined Rhinos’ injury list.

Players still unavailable for the Rhinos are Kallum Watkins (knee), Jamie Jones-Buchanan (knee), Carl Ablett (calf muscle), Jimmy Keinhorst (hamstring), Ash Handley (hamstring) and Nathaniel Peteru (biceps).

Castleford Tigers: from Clare, Clark, Cook, Eden, Egodo, Ellis, Holmes, Laulu-Togaga’e, Massey, McShane, Millington, Milner, Moors, Sene-Lefao, Shenton, Springer, Trueman, Watts, Webster.
