Castleford Tigers are gearing up for a cracking 2015 season with chief executive Steve Gill delighted to see the Mend-A-Hose Jungle already a hive of activity.
With a mouth watering first home fixture against local rivals Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Sunday, February 8, the squad have already returned for pre-season training and it is back to business.
The new home replica shirt was launched last week and the new 2015 away shirt will hit the shelves before Christmas. Season tickets are currently on sale and fans are reminded to buy theirs quickly to pick up the early bird discounted price.
Tigers CEO Steve Gill said: “It’s a hive of activity here at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle. A fair few of the boys are back in training and it’s great to feel the buzz about the place with quite a few new faces added to the ranks.
“We’ve had a really busy off season with a brand new onsite gym facility being built. This will give us a top class training facility, something that we have lacked for many years and for this we must thank our partners CBR Engineering.
“Our new home replica shirt and 2015 training wear has made record sales in the first few weeks on sale and our season tickets sales have just broken the 2,000 marker, with 20% of these sales being brand new season ticket holders, thus putting us around 550 ahead of last year’s like for like sales.
“The early bird discounted season ticket prices are available until December 1 so we’re reminding all fans to purchase early to get the best price.”
Gill added: “I want thank each and every one of our amazing fans for their continued support.
“I’ve called the majority of our 2015 season tickets holders personally to let them know just what it means to the board of directors, myself, and everyone here at the club.”
Castleford will be playing five pre-season friendly games with more details of dates and opponents being released soon.
