Castleford Tigers’ Samoan international Junior Moors cannot wait to sample the atmosphere at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle for himself after hearing all about it from players who have played at the ground.
Moors is delighted to be joining a club with passionate fans and wants them to continue to back the team in 2015 as they have done in the past.
He said: “I’ve had a look at some home game on videos and I’ve heard the fans are really loud and really get behind the team.
“I’ve spoken to plenty of players from other teams coming to play at Castleford and they say it is a pretty daunting place to play if you are an away player.
“It will be good to have these fans on my side and I can’t wait already to run out in front of the supporters.
“I’ve not been here that long, but I’ve met some of the fans already and they have been very encouraging.
“Me and Benny Roberts had a chance to go to the switch on of the Christmas lights in the town centre and plenty of supporters were there. They seemed to be very passionate about the team and about the town so it’s great to have that kind of support behind you.”
