TWO Castleford Tigers players have been included in the Wales RL squad to play France at the Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium on Saturday.
First team forward Jake Emmitt and highly rated under 20s academy player Daniel Fleming, also a prop, have both been included in a 21-man squad, along with winger Rhys Williams, who is currently on loan with the Tigers from Warrington.
Wales coach Iestyn Harris said: “We’ll have a squad with a mixture of youth and experience. There will be a few debutants who are supported by some old hands.
“This match against France is an essential part of our preparations for the 2013 World Cup which we are jointly hosting here in Wales. It will enable us to showcase the Welsh talent that we have in both Super League and those who are coming through the ranks at various levels of the game.
“The French game will be a big test for our young side against an experienced French outfit and it will give us a good viewpoint as to how far we’ve progressed as a nation over the last two years.”
