CASTLEFORD Tigers will face three Super League opponents in the build-up to the new season.
The Tigers have confirmed home pre-season fixtures against Super League rivals Bradford Bulls on Boxing Day and Huddersfield Giants on Sunday, January 15. They visit neighbours Wakefield Wildcats on Sunday, January 22.
New head coach Ian Millward will have his first game in charge of Cas when they once again take on Bradford in the now traditional Boxing Day festive clash at the Probiz Coliseum with a scheduled kick-off time of 1pm.
Huddersfield will then visit the Probiz Coliseum on January 15 with the game due to kick-off at 3.30pm. Admission prices for both home games will be £13 (adults) and £6 (juniors/OAPs).
Millward’s men will also face an away trial against local rivals Wakefield Wildcats, under their new head coach, Richard Agar, as they look to put the finishing touches to their preparations for Super League XVII.
The match will not be played for the Adam Watene Memorial Trophy as this will once again be at stake in the Good Friday derby.
Tickets for Tigers season ticket holders for this match are £12 for adults and £5 for concessions/juniors if pre-purchased by Saturday, January 21. Non season ticket holders can buy in advance with tickets £14 for adults and £5 for concessions/juniors while this will also be the price for all supporters paying on the day.
Tickets are due to go on sale in early December with more details to be posted on the official club website.
