Castleford Tigers chief executive Steve Gill is delighted with season ticket sales to date with numbers well up on last year.
With 3,575 season tickets for 2015 having already been snapped up at the early bird price sales are up markedly on the same time last year – and the Tigers expect more to be sold with still two months to go to the start of the First Utility Super League season.
This time last year at the early bird deadline 2,565 season tickets had been bought so the increase is more than 38 per cent and it is further encouraging for the club that they have seen an 18 per cent increase in new season ticket holders.
Chief executive Gill said: “We’re delighted with our fans’ response to our 2015 season tickets. Everyone here at the club has been outstanding in their efforts over the off season to get the tickets on sale and ready for collection well before Christmas.
“Of course we must thank our players and coaching staff for a fantastic 2014 season, which has clearly left fans eager to see more of the same action in 2015.
“We’re confident we’ll hit the 4,000 marker and we can’t wait to see everyone down at the Jungle soaking up the atmosphere soon. “
Tigers season tickets are available to buy online at Castigers.com and in the Tigers Den club shop, in Carlton Lanes shopping centre.
Season tickets will be available for collection from the collection point at the stadium club shop at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday from next Monday, with a late night opening until 7pm on Thursday, December 18.
