Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has named his 19-man squad to take on Hull FC at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon, kick-off 5pm.

Powell makes two changes to the squad who claimed victory over Wakefield Trinity on Friday night with Luke Gale and Calum Turner replaced by Alex Foster and Cory Aston, who has returned from a loan spell with Sheffield.

The win on Friday night came at a cost with 2017 Man of Steel Luke Gale set to face 12 weeks on the sidelines. Head physio Matty Crowther confirmed the news:

“Luke’s is a freak injury. Luke took a knee on knee clash from probably the biggest player in Super League Pauli Pauli on Friday night. It was a clash of knees, and he’s ended up with a slight crack in his patella which is his knee cap, and a little bit of cartilage damage behind that knee.

“He had surgery on Wednesday and this will keep him out of action for probably three months.”

Tickets will remain on sale in the Tigers Den club shop in Carlton Lanes and the Castleford Tigers Sports Superstore in Xscape until 3pm on Friday. Fans can also purchase from the club’s website.
