STAR player Rangi Chase looks likely to still be at Castleford Tigers next year, despite continuing speculation linking him with moves to Wigan and Leeds.
That uncertainty has prompted the Tigers to open talks about extending his contract, which still has two years to run, but Chase has not ruled out a move to a bigger club in the future.
New Zealand half-back Chase (pictured) said: “I think they’re talking so we’ll see what happens but I’ve got another two years so I don’t want to rush into anything at the moment.
“I don’t know where those rumours come from. Obviously it would be good to go to a big club and I’m only 25 so maybe one year.
“I’m happy at Cas. You do it tough because we haven’t got the facilities that other clubs have but there’s a good bunch of blokes there.
“Everybody is down to earth, that’s what I like about the place.
“Hopefully it’s going to get better.”
