CASTLEFORD Tigers three-quarter Kirk Dixon (pictured) has signed a new three-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2014 season.
Former Hull player Dixon 26, who out of contract at the end of the season, said: “I’m absolutely over the moon. Castleford is a club that I didn’t want to leave.
“They decided they wanted to keep me and it wasn’t a tough decision.
“I owe the club a lot of gratitude and its somewhere that I want to be. I enjoy my time here and that’s why I decided to sign.”
He has scored 64 tries and landed 238 goals in 119 appeances for Castleford.
His tally this season is 20 appearances, eight tries and 84 goals.
