CASTLEFORD Tigers today unveiled their new away shirt for the 2012 season.

The shirt - seen here modelled by Man of Steel Rangi Chase - was revealed at noon.

Tigers retail manager Liam Bashforth said: “With the home shirt selling beyond expectation, leaving a limited range of sizes remaining, and a high demand now forecast for the away shirt, the club are keen to ensure all supporters who want one have the opportunity to beat the queues and avoid missing out.

“We’ve had an overwhelming response to the new design with many supporters and players telling us that they prefer the away shirt to what was the most popular Cas’ home shirt of all time.”

Club staff are working with the suppliers to secure an early as possible delivery.

Club captain Danny Orr said: “It is the best Cas shirt I’ve seen.”

Tigers prop Craig Huby commented: “I really like it. I’m sure the fans will agree with Danny and say it is the best ever. I’m looking forward to wearing it when I’m back playing and seeing the fans’ responses to it.”

Supporters can pre-order the away shirt online at and at the club shop in Carlton Lanes (9am to 5pm Saturday and weekdays).
