Castleford Tigers boss Daryl Powell is hoping that being back on home soil can help his side get back to the form they showed in the opening four games in the 2017 Betfred Super League season.
Following back to back away games the Tigers are now at home in their next two matches, with the first of them coming against Catalans Dragons on Sunday.
They are looking to bounce back from their first defeat, which came at Salford, and Powell wants to send the fans home happier this time after around 2,000 of them that made a huge travelling army had a disappointing journey home over the Pennines last Sunday.
He told the Express: “It’s great to be at home again and it’s important we turn up and put on a good show for the fans.
“There’s always a great atmosphere at Cas, but we know that wherever we’ve been this year we’ve been supported superbly.
“There was another huge following at Salford, but unfortunately we couldn’t give them what they deserved.
“But we know they will be supporting us big again so we’re looking forward to being at home.”
Powell does not know which Catalans will turn up after they have proved inconsistent so far, but he is preparing his players for a tough encounter.
“They lost a tight game against St Helens and got belted the week before against Leeds so they’ve shown both sides of them really.
“They can be very, very good, as they showed at the start of the season, and they can be a little bit loose.
“But we can’t worry too much about them, we need to look after ourselves and make sure our standards are back where they need to be to give ourselves a chance of an excellent performance.
“We know if we’re on we really trouble teams - we need to get back to that this week.”
