Seven injured Castleford players miss Saints clash

CASTLEFORD Tigers coach Ian Millward has been forced into seven changes for Monday's Super League home clash with St Helens.

Daryl Clark (pictured), Rangi Chase, Richard Owen, Nick Youngquest, Danny Orr, Oliver Holmes and Grant Millington all picked up injuries in Friday's win at Wakefield.

That means winger James Clare, prop Steve Nash, hooker Ryan Hudson and the versatile James Grehan are all recalled to the squad while John Davies gets his first outing of the season.

Academy players Ben Johnson and Josh Atkinson could also make their debuts if they make the matchday 17.

Saints coach Mike Rush is also forced to shuffle his pack after three of his players picked up injuries in the Good Friday defeat to Wigan.

Jonny Lomax, Jon Wilkin and Tommy Makinson all miss out but their absence is tempered by the return of Paul Wellens, Anthony Laffranchi nd Gary Wheeler while Adam Swift is also included in the 19-man squad.
