Head coach Daryl Powell has named his 19-man squad ahead of Castleford Tigers’ clash with Huddersfield Giants at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Tigers coach makes three changes to the squad that beat Salford Red Devils 24-6 last Friday. Jamie Ellis and Nathan Massey both shrug off slight injuries and return to the squad after one week away from the field while youngster Lewis Peachey could be in line for his Tigers debut after being included in the squad for the first time.

Dropping out of the squad is Joe Wardle, who picked up an ankle injury, which Powell confirmed was not as bad as first thought. Gadwin Springer and Tuoyo Egodo have both also dropped out.

Castleford Tigers’ 19-man squad: 26. James Clare, 23. Mitch Clark, 18. Matt Cook, 5. Greg Eden, 6. Jamie Ellis, 28. Kieran Gill, 11. Oliver Holmes, 34. Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e, 14. Nathan Massey, 9.
