PROP forward Jonathan Walker is set to return to action for Castleford Tigers in the last game of the season at Hull FC on Saturday (kick-off 6pm).

Tigers head coach Ian Millward has named Walker, who has missed the last seven matches through injury, in his 19-man squad for the final Super League clash at the KC Stadium.

The squad also includes a return for 20-year-old half-back Ben Johnston and a first call-up at senior level for pacy winger Ben Blackmore.

After impressing for the under 20s in recent weeks the 19-year-old flyer, who joined the club from Fryston Warriors, is being given a chance to step up with injuries ruling out Steve Nash (concussion), Jamie Ellis (shoulder) and Paul Jackson (knee).

Both Nash and Ellis’ injuries came in Sunday’s match against Catalan Dragons while Jackson was also ruled out of that match with the same injury.

Saturday’s match is set to be an emotional affair with retiring trio Danny Orr, Nick Youngquest and Ryan Hudson all set to play their final professional game. Steve Snitch and Stuart Jones, who will also leave the club after Saturday, are also named.
