Castleford Tigers will have veteran centre Jake Webster back for Sunday’s visit to Salford when they hope to maintain their 100 per cent record.
The former New Zealand international was rested for last Sunday’s the game on the artificial Widnes Vikings pitch in order to keep him fresh for Sunday’s game, when he will be given the job of marking powerful three-quarter Junior Sa’u.
“Jake’s got a bit of a knee problem that flares up on that surface so it was a conscious decision to keep him off it,” said Tigers coach Daryl Powell.
“We’re playing against a team with some really good outside backs this week. Junior Sa’u is a real threat and we needed Jake to be available for that.”
