CASTLEFORD Tigers have enhanced the contract of under 20s utility back Greg Eden (pictured).
The former Castleford Panthers and Tigers scholarship star will remain at the club for the rest of the 2011 season with an option for both parties regarding the 2012 season.
Eden impressed at full-back in the Tigers’ pre-season friendly games and stepped up to train full-time with the first team.
Steve Gill, Tigers’ head of youth development, said: “Greg came to us last season hoping to earn a contract, but decided to take up an opportunity to play in Australia.
“He returned home in September and did a full pre-season with the first grade. He has since shown great form with the under 20s and has deserved this contract enhancement.
“We look forward to Greg pushing for a first team spot in the not too distant future.”
