Australian half-back or hooker Sam Irwin has won the Featherstone Rovers first-team player of the month award for March.
The club’s under 16s academy player of the month winner is Matt Fletcher of Waterhead, Oldham.
The winners were selected by the coaches and the awards presented at a Supporters Club fans forum on Monday.
The forum was hosted by club chairman Mark Campbell, chief executive Pat Cluskey and head coach Andy Hay.
Mr Cluskey said: “It was a successful evening and it’s something we intend to carry on throughout the season. It is always good to discuss topics with supporters and quash any rumours circulating particularly on social media.
“We really want to push the Supporters Club which will help raise funds for both the new stands and the Featherstone Rovers Foundation. It only costs £5 per household to join with the next event taking place on Monday, April 27.”
Rovers Past Players Association will hold its 27th annual dinner in the Cappers Bar at Big Fellas Stadium on Friday, April 10.
Entertainment will be provided by ex-St Helens Lance Todd Trophy winner Tommy Martyn and comedian Max Pressure.
The dinner always attracts a good turnout of ex Rovers players. and supporters can also attend. Tickets cost £22 and include a three course meal and quality wine.

Geoff Miller, the former national cricket selector and Test star and one the best sporting speakers on the circuit, will at Big Fellas Stadium for an event on Thursday May 28. The evening will consist of Miller’s own talk in the first-half with a question and answer session with the audience in the second period.
VIP tickets (limited to 40) are available fort £20. This will include a meet and greet with Geoff Miller at 7pm, an opportunity for autographs and photographs, plus a light buffet and priority seating.
