Sheffield Eagles have confirmed they have signed Featherstone Rovers winger Ben Blackmore on a full-time contract.
The 22-year-old former Castleford Tigers and Huddersfield Giants player joined Rovers in 2014.
Last season he scored 15 tries in 23 appearances in all competitions for Featherstone.
He made his Castleford debut in 2012 in their Super League clash with Hull FC.
Former Featherstone player Mark Aston, Sheffield’s director of rugby, said: “His ability isn’t in doubt and you know that because he was given an opportunity at Super League level.
“He has a good grounding and he knows what it is like to succeed at Championship level too. He has good experience for a player of his age and he knows what it takes to succeed in this division.”
