Featherstone Rovers have agreed terms with Halifax to sign prop forward Sam Barlow on loan for the remainder of this season.
As part of the agreement, he will not play in any game between the two clubs.
Halifax coach Karl Harrison told the club’s official website: “Sam is a player who needs to be playing regular rugby and long spells to maintain his fitness levels.
“With no significant injuries amongst Halifax’s forwards, I’m not able to offer him the first team opportunities he requires. The chance to join Featherstone for the remainder of the season was one which he did not wish to turn down, and in fairness to him, I felt it right to let him go.”
