Featherstone’s Ian Hardman and Sheffield’s Tony Tonks have been charged with offences committed during a second-half brawl in the Kingstone Press Championship match at Big Fellas Stadium on Easter Monday.
Tonks has been charged with Grade B striking on Hardman in the 65th minute.
Hardman has been charged with Grade A striking in the same incident.
Both players were sin-binned as a result of the flare-up in a match that Sheffield won 33-4.
Hardman has until 11am next Tuesday to submit an early guilty plea.
Tonks does not have the option of submitting an early guilty plea and will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal next Tuesday evening.
Both players were charged after the incident was considered by the RFL Match Review Panel.
There were no other charges from Kingstone Press Championship or Kingstone Press League One fixtures played over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
