French international half-back Remy Marginet made an eye-catching debut for Featherstone Rovers in Saturday’s 48-10 pre-season win against amateur club Lock Lane.
The 25-year-old gave a lively display in his first appearance after joining the club on trial.
Australian three-quarter Jy Hitchcox, who made a try-scoring debut, also looked sharp.
Featherstone’s other try scorers were impressive prop Luke Cooper (two), Alex Foster (two), Will Milner, Ian Hardman and Kyran Johnson.
Gareth Moore landed eight goals from eight kicks.
Full-back Mike Hayward scored two tries for Lock Lane and Danny Rowse kicked one goal.
