Featherstone Rovers are set to launch their new home shirt next week after signing a deal with kit suppliers XBlades.

The new partnership will see X-Blades become the official kit supplier for the 2015 season and also see them supplying all the club’s off-field leisure apparel.

The deal will start with a new home jersey expected to be available for supporters from next Thursday when there will be a wide range of off-field leisure apparel also available in both adult and children’s sizes.

Rovers chairman Mark Campbell said: “We are delighted to have signed a long term deal with the leading rugby brand XBlades.

“We felt it was time to give the players and supporters the quality they deserve and XBlades ticked all the boxes.

“It’s a big season ahead with promotion and relegation back and we are pleased to announce such a big deal for the club.”

Shane Miller, XBlades managing director, said: “X-Blades are more than happy Featherstone Rovers have agreed to sign with us.

“We identified Featherstone as a club with a great history and potential to achieve promotion to where they belong, Super League.

“Just watching all the recent developments at the stadium, including the work being done by volunteers, gives you an idea of what this club means to the supporters.”

Rovers will be exclusively launching the 2015 home kit at 7.30pm in the Cappers Bar, Big Fellas Stadium on Thursday, November 6.

In attendance launching the kit will be XBlades director and former dual code international player Jason Robinson OBE (7pm-9pm).
