HALF-back Liam Finn is set to make his 100th appearance for Featherstone Rovers in tomorrow’s (Sunday) Co-operative Championship home match against Hunslet Hawks.
Finn (pictured) in his second spell with the club. He made his Rovers debut and kicked five goals in a 44-30 away National League One defeat to Hull KR on April, 10, 2005.
He finished his first stint with the club at the end of the 2005 season after making 19 appearances.
He rejoined Rovers, after four seasons with Dewsbury Rams, at the start of the 2010 campaign. He made his second debut at hooker in an 18-18 Northern Rail Cup home draw against Sheffield on February 7, 2010. In his current spell, he has made 80 appearances for Rovers.
Finn needs just 13 points to reach the 1,000 mark for Featherstone. His total of 987 is made up of 54 tries, 384 goals and three drop goals.
He has scored points in Featherstone’s last 37 matches. His scoring streak began on May 29, 2011, in a 38-18 win at Dewsbury.
Finn last failed to score in Featherstone’s 70-0 Challenge Cup defeat at St Helens on May 22, 2011.
