FEATHERSTONE Rovers centre Jason Walton looks set to miss the first three months of the new Championship season.

Walton, 27, underwent surgery after he suffered a serious knee injury prior to the start of last season’s Super 8s.

The former Salford, Wakefield and Batley player has Tweeted: “Killing me this year knowing I’m not gunner be starting my rugby season till May.”
