FEATHERSTONE Rovers will officially launch their new away shirt for 2012 next Wednesday evening (7.30pm).

First team players, head coach Daryl Powell and club mascot Bluebeard will attend the launch in the clubhouse, which will be open from 7pm.

The shirt - seen here being modelled by Rovers stars Tangi Ropati and Ian Hardman - costs £43 adults and £33 junior sizes.

The club’s community team will be present at Wednesday’s launch for junior supporters to enrol on Easter camps, join the Buccaneers Club and enrol for the Rovers All-Star Dance Academy.

The club shop will be open and there will be an opportunity to purchase or renew season tickets.

At 9pm a panel of supporters will take on a panel of Featherstone Rovers players at a “Question of Sport”.

The club’s commercial manager Paul Taylor said: “We are pleased with the away kit. It is a really eye catching design and we are confident that supporters will see the shirt as a fashionable piece of leisureware as well as visually supporting Featherstone Rovers on match day.”

Rovers chairman Mark Campbell said: “The response to our target of selling 1,000 season tickets has been fantastic and we are really committed to not only hitting our target but also exceeding it as we build on the success of 2011.”
