Rovers star Finn sets new world record

FEATHERSTONE'S ace marksman Liam Finn set a new world goalkicking record in tonight's 60-12 Northern Rail Cup quarterfinal win at Keighley Cougars.

Finn (pictured) converted all Featherstone's 10 tries to to take his tally to 41 consecutive successful goal kicks over their last five matches.

He beat Barry Eaton's previous world record for most consecutive successful kicks. Eaton landed 38 in a row for Batley Bulldogs in 2003.
