Wildcats on cusp of Exiles call-up
The Wildcats assistant coach is also part of the Exiles management team, led by Daniel Anderson, and says Wakefield players have been discussed as possible replacements in case of injury.
The Wildcats aren’t represented in the England, Exiles or England Knights squads for this weekend’s international matches.

Hide AdBut they could be drafted in for the second International Origin match on Wednesday, July 4.
He said: “With the recent injuries [to Brett Finch and George Carmont] we’ve spoken about pulling in a couple of our boys, so they’re being talked about.
“I think if we get more injuries for game two then I’m sure they’re in the shop window and they’ve got every chance of coming in, so it’s good for them and good for the club to get some exposure.
“Getting a few wins always helps so if we keep on winning and the lads keep on performing you never know for game two.”

Hide AdWildcats head coach Richard Agar put hooker Paul Aiton forward as one possibility for the Exiles earlier in the season.
Dean Collis, Vince Mellars and Ali Lautiiti are also among Wakefield’s overseas contingent.
Morrison is also hopeful some of Wakefield’s home-grown players are given a thought by England in the not-too-distant future.
“Foxy’s [Peter Fox] played there before and he’s in good form at the moment,” he said.

Hide Ad“Kirmo [Danny Kirmond] is a real leader and he’s be perfect to go into that Knights system and push through, he’s a local lad too so that’s even better.”
Saturday’s game kicks-off at 6.45pm in St Helens.
