Elite kids Coaching – set up by former Castleford Tigers captain Ryan Hudson and his wife, Claire – has gone from strength to strength since its start around 14 months ago.
The sports coaching company specialises in rugby and functional fitness for children aged four to 16 with a goal of challenging and inspiring youngsters through an exciting and engaging environment.
After beginning in the Castleford and Wakefield areas Elite have branched out to all over West Yorkshire and their sessions are proving a big success.
“We are currently coaching over 4,000 children every week in West Yorkshire and have over 24 professional coaches,” said Elite founder Ryan.
“From starting out coaching rugby, we now offer all schools multi skills, gymnastics, football, dance, basketball, functional fitness and forestry.
“Our mission is to inspire the next generation using our unique and holistic approach to coaching while raising the standards of physical education in primary schools.”
Ryan explained that they were currently looking into physical literacy testing with children aged four to 11 to see the impact their sessions were having and to see how they could help children function in the Ipad generation.
He added: “Another success has been the introduction of our nutrition and lifestyle assemblies and positive mindset assemblies for the children about to start their SATS. We offer these free to all schools and please get in touch at www.elitekidscoaching.com if you are interested. We offer all schools free taster sessions to see what Elite coaching is all about.”
