Britpop stars Cast on their way to Leeds

Pedigree Britpop legends Cast are set to release a brand new album in March and will be following it up with a tour that includes a date in Leeds.

Between touring extensively all last year Cast worked on material for a new album, giving fans a chance to be part of helping make it a reality.

The new album is available for pre-order at PledgeMusic and as well as receiving a signed CD there are loads of exclusive items and unique experiences as ways you can support the album, from hand written lyric sheets and signed instruments to album playback events.

The band will be revealing their new material alongside familiar favourites when they set out on a UK tour that includes a stop off at the Brudenell Social Club, in Leeds, on Saturday, April 23

Cast originally formed in 1992. From playing bass in legendary Northern band The La’s, John Power (guitar/vocals), Liam ‘Skin’ Tyson (lead guitar - also playing with Robert Plant) and Keith O’Neill (drums) are joined by former La’s member Jay Lewis on bass.

In 2012 after a band hiatus Cast reunited with original producer John Leckie (Stone Roses, Radiohead, The Fall) to release a new album ‘Troubled Times’, their first studio album in over 10 years.
