Between October 26 and November 3, families are invited on an after hours walk around Fairburn Ings to discover what wildlife comes out after dark. Book your tickets at the visitor centre or at www.eventbrite.co.uk
The Kellingley Social Club are hosting a night of family Halloween fun, featuring a firework display, street food, rides and beer tent. It will take place on October 31 from 5pm onwards. Tickets can be purchased at the club.

On October 29, there will be Halloween activities in Normanton Town, beginning with trick or treating in the High Street at 10am. There will also be a fancy dress competition. See Normanton Town Council Facebook page for details
David and Matthew Dixon invite trick-or-treaters to their Doctor Who themed house of horrors on Halloween night at 21 Eastfield Drive, Pontefract. They will be collecting donations for the Prince of Wales Hospice.
