Returning King Blues added to Slam Dunk line-up
After splitting up in 2012, The King Blues will be making a welcome return to the festival and cannot wait to play the event which takes over Leeds Millennium Square on Saturday, May 28.
“We’re super excited to be back and playing Slam Dunk for the first time in years. We can’t wait to get back and party with you all.” says singer Itch.

Normally known for Enter Shikari, frontman Rou Reynolds says they “can’t wait to introduce Slam Dunk to Shikari Sound System. If you like low frequencies, the ones that make your innards quiver, and you like high energy electronic music come down and jive. Maybe even pull out a foxtrot.”
Moose Blood have also been added to the line-up and have become one of the most beloved bands since releasing “I’ll Keep You In Mind, From Time To Time.” Their upcoming UK tour in April saw London selling out in a matter of hours, with other cities following suit. Slam Dunk festival will be one of the only places you’ll be able to see them this spring.
Another band to fly the international flag will be The Amity Affliction, an Australian force to be reckoned with. Having 2 ARIA number one albums in their homeland, this will be the band’s first appearance at Slam Dunk festival.
Other bands announced are ska legends Catch 22, their first performance in the UK in many years, Arizonan metalcore quintet The World Alive, who will release a new album this spring along with pop-punk label mates Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!
