After celebrating a successful first year in business, Belluccis offers all-day dining the way Mama makes it – hearty Italian flavours with a sophisticated twist.

The restaurant opened its doors on trendy Northgate almost a year ago, and has built a strong following, with its lunch, evening and cocktail menu wowing discerning diners.

It balances elegant décor with a relaxed feel, and the owners have worked hard to make it welcoming and friendly, whatever the occasion. In fact, they say it’s the perfect venue for a milestone meal, a cocktail catch-up with friends, a big family gathering or even a business lunch.

If you’ve not been before you’ll want a taste of what to expect. There are all the traditional Italian favourites, including garlic bread (served in three ways), lasagne, bolognese, pizza and more, but a few unexpected delights.

For starters, fish lovers will adore the gamberoni or calamari friti (or go big with the sharing platter for two including calamari, prawns, scampi and scallops), while for meat-eaters the gorgeous selection of affetati misti or lamb skewers are must.

On to the mains and enjoy the Belluccis special pizza, with salami, ham, red onion and mushroom, the risotto, slow cooked with wild mushrooms and tender grilled chicken, or for vegetarians, the mouth-watering cannelloni with ricotta and spinach.

Not to be missed

The award-winning steaks are a delight however you like them; choose from ribeye, fillet, lamb cutlets, salmon and seabass, with all the usual extras.

Don’t forget to add a little bit extra on the side, whatever your main – what about the sautéed spinach, the broccoli with chilli and soy, or the sautéed potatoes with bacon, red onion and rosemary?
