The Class A drugs were found in an Audi RS3 sports car and this vehicle, worth around £35,000, along with the significant amount of cash, are believed to have been obtained through criminal activity.
Police Constable Gary Calvert of Kirklees CID said, “This sentence should be a warning to those who profit from the despair caused by drugs. Operation Quartz demonstrates the priority we give to stopping those who deal drugs, in this case, drugs that would have been destined for the streets of West Yorkshire.”
