Fire crews were called to rescue two young girls who found themselves stuck in mud in Pontefract.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at around 3pm on Saturday, August 22, to reports that two 11-year-olds had become stuck in mud.
The girls had been out litter picking when the incident occurred on Nevison Avenue, Pontefract.
A crew from Pontefract attended the scene and rescued the girls from the mud before helping them to get home safely.
