There are long delays for motorists on the M1 this afternoon due to a broken down vehicle in West Yorkshire.

Highways England say two lanes are blocked between junction 41 for East Ardsley and junction 40 for Ossett on the southbound carriageway.

A spokesperson added that traffic officers and recovery were on scene but there are long delays.
