Update: Biker hurt in Newmillerdam accident
A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after a smash in Newmillerdam.
The male biker suffered serious leg injuries in the incident which happened just after 1.30pm on Barnsley Road close to the junction of School Hill.
Emergency services are still at the scene and the motorcyclist has been taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
Police said the incident involved a car and the motorbike,
Barnsley Road has been closed in both directions.
